Jeff Kent: "Not absorbing my MLB experience...that's a paddlin."

This whole thing reeks of a frustrated team just venting. I once wrote that the make-up of the Dodgers -- young kids and slightly past their prime veterans all trying to prove themselves in the absence of any true superstars -- is something that would make them more of a team. Well this is what happens in the worst of times. With no one who commands the respect of both the vets and the kids, there was no way to unite the clubhouse when the hardship set in. Jeff Kent is apparently not that type of teammate although you would think he is in a good position to do so.
